In the name of god Amen I Joseph Mosley of Skelmanthorp in the County of Yorke Yeoman Sicke in body but of Sound & p[er]fectte memory praised be god for it Doe ordaine & make this my last will & Testam[en]t in manner & forme following First I Commend my soule into the handes of Almighty god who gaue it hopeing through his mercy to haue free pardon of all my sins My body I Committ to the Earth to be buried in Decent buriall at the Discretion of my Frend[es] And as for the good[es] of this Carefull world w[hi]ch it hath pleased god to blesse me w[i]th all First my will & mind is that all my Debt[es] be paid w[hi]ch I owe to any & my funerall Charges be paid, out of my whole estate First I give and and bequeath unto William Mosley Sonn of John Mosley Deceassed late of Shelley Deceassed All my whole estate of houseing land[es] & at Healey w[i]thin the Towne Ship of Shelley afforesaid now in the occupation of Richard Haucksworth Robert Broadhead & Thomas Denton or their assignes to him & his heires for ever And alsoe one Messuage or tennam[en]t at Wardplace w[i]thin the Greaueshipp of holme now in the occupac[i]on of Sussanna Kay or her assignes And all my houseing & landes lying & being w[i]thin Skelmanthorpp now in the & occupation of me the said Joseph Mosley or my assignes ( my wiffes right allwayes Excapted ) Or if it fall out that my wiffe shall proue w[i]th Child then that ... and so the legacies/bequests
